hi youth! I’m excited about what God is doing in you guys and i just wanted to share some encouragement with you guys. In Leviticus 26, God is speaking through Moses to the Israelites about the Blessings to those who obey Him and the punishment for those who don’t. In verse14, He starts talking about the punishments, and when you get to verse 23 it says, “And if by these things you are not turned to Me.” The Lord continues with the punishment. This verse really stuck out to me because it shows that all the punishment and all the discipline that God allows on His children was and is meant to turn us to God. It’s all for our better. Every trial and tribulation is meant to give us joy, “For the fullness of joy is found in the presence of God.”Psalms 16:11. And every trial is meant to bring us into His presence. To draw us to Him. Oh, the Love of God! So whenever you go through a rough time, just remember that it is God trying to turn you to Him! He loves you guys! Keep praying for the retreat guys and girls that God would do an incredible thing in your hearts and every one there.

well anonymous, a great way to tell is if it aligns with his word aka the Bible. also its about being in a relationship with God and living in obedience. God loves to bless us and see us prosper. if we are in a continuous search after him through prayer, lifestyle, his word and spirit; many times you will know through his spirit. its not always about what our hearts or desires want. we need to humble ourselves and really see whatever your choice may be, is if it will glorify God and serve/love on others or if it will feed into our fleshly wants and selfishness. you need to look at the motive, God always looks at the heart or the true reason why u are doing something. People became selfish, enraged with so much pride, we began 2 build and use weapons. Stones grew 2 become massive tanks. A stone fight becoming a blood slaughter. They fight to gain land, but they lose so much more in the process. If only the tree of knowledge was nvr eaten from. Then what would this world b? Would hav sum1 else ended up doing it? For this world falls to temptations evryday; the temptations of being like this world. Who knows. It’s almost like the decision Cassey made at Columbine. Oh how i wish it could have been her 2 make tht decision. She gave her life in the name of the father; she stood on what she believes in. NO matter the punishment, I’m going to live for u.
